We aim to capture as many beautiful images of you and your family as we can. This can be anywhere from 50 to 150 depending on the length of the shoot, the weather and how co-operative your little ones are.
Once it's all wrapped up for the day we'll go back to our studio and download all the shots from the shoot and individually review each, discarding those which immediately don't make the grade. This group then gets resized to a nice presentable image for display on the internet in your own password protected area. We'll contact you either by phone or probably email to tell you your password.
Once you receive your password, usually within a week, you'll be able to log in and see all the pictures from the shoot at your leisure. It's important to note that these shots will be directly out of the camera and therefore may not look as polished as you were expecting. Please don't worry though as we will be able to digitally enhance the pictures which typically come from the camera with less contrast and colours than the final product.
Should you not wish to view your pictures online you are more than welcome to come to our studio to go through them with us. Please contact us to book a suitable time.
Once you've decided upon the images you would like we will then start developing the shots into the final product. This can range from removing small distractions (sometimes a runny nose spoils an otherwise perfect image) to brightening, colouring or turning to black and white. All of this manipulation is included in the cost of the print and we don't overly use effects - we're restrained with our use of photoshop.
Once this process has been finalised we will invite you back to the studio to discuss printing options. If at this point you would much rather have the enhanced final images on a CD then we are more than happy to provide this. Please see the pricing page for details of this. Otherwise, come and have a chat with us over a cup of tea whilst we go through your images one by one making sure you're perfectly happy with them. We wil also talk with you about printing and framing options.
As mentioned above, you can opt to have all your selected images supplied as Hi-resolution JPGs on CD so that you can print these at your leisure. They will be fully enhanced, cropped and be print ready.
If however you chose to have your images printed and framed these will be delivered to you direct from our suppliers once they have been produced.
